Biodiversity Conservation & Research for Endangered species
through
verified assessments, stUDbook management, guidelines, protocols and skills development

PAAZAB-BCRE is a dynamic network of African wildlife professionals dedicated to advancing animal welfare, well-being, conservation science, and ethical stewardship. Through collaboration, research, and education, we empower institutions and individuals to protect biodiversity and inspire future generations.
By encouraging the use of new techniques and technologies and providing specialised animal keeper courses and consultancy, PAAZAB-BCRE is helping animal care staff develop their wildlife skills.

PAAZAB-BCRE offers specialised assessments to assess captive animal facilities on care, welfare, education programs, research and ethics. These assessments are designed by professionals for professionals and governments. Different levels are available depending on the type of facility and the aim of the assessment. Each of these assessments are designed in accordance with the most recent scientific advances and the Five Domains Model.
