PAAZAB-BCRE (Biodiversity, Conservation and Research for Endangered species) is proud to participate in conservation and research programs to safeguard the future of biodiversity and preserve our planet for future generations. PAAZAB-BCRE has been developed to help preserve African wildlife while promoting proper education and research on the African continent as a whole. Through research and conservation, we can better understand the threats wildlife faces and implement effective strategies to protect species.

Encourage individual actions as well as large scale conservation projects
Individual Actions
Each action, even small actions, can have an impact on the conservation of endangered species. If you’d like to help, you can start with these easy steps.
Reduce Environmental Impact :
- Minimize plastic use, especially single-use plastics that end up in ecosystems
- Choose sustainable products and support companies with eco-friendly practices
- Reduce carbon footprint through transportation choices and energy consumption
Create Wildlife-Friendly Spaces :
- Plant native species in gardens to support local pollinators and birds
- Install bird feeders, bat houses, or bee hotels
- Leave some areas of your yard natural rather than manicured
- Ensure outdoor lighting is wildlife-friendly (reduces disruption to nocturnal animals)
- Keep pets contained to protect wild animals
Responsible Consumption :
- Avoid products made from endangered species (ivory, exotic skins, certain traditional medicines)
- Choose sustainably sourced seafood
- Buy local and seasonal products instead of imported products
- Be cautious with pet ownership—avoid wild-caught animals

Advocacy & Education
PAAZAB-BCRE supports and creates education programs for all ages. Some free resources are available on our resources page. Here are certain actions we undertake for better wildlife education.
- Support legislation protecting habitats and endangered species
- Encourage and review best practices in captive wildlife facilities
- Educate others about local wildlife issues
- Participate in citizen science projects (bird counts, wildlife monitoring)
- Report poaching or illegal wildlife trade to authorities
Habitat Protection & Conservation
At PAAZAB-BCRE, we support conservation programs, such as the turtle and the vulture programs displayed on our website. These conservation programs can include :
- Use of conservation technology to follow released and wild populations
- Land conservation efforts (protected areas)
- Habitat restoration projects
- Captive breeding and releasing of endangered species in their natural environment
